PS3 and 360 Hybrid Events

New KOTC 360/PS3 Hybrid Tournament Format
For NCAA 12 and Madden 12

• Hybrid events , make the events bigger by combing the consoles into 1 huge event.
• Hybrid events will attract more players combining for both PS3 and Xbox players will do this
• Hybrid events cut down on the amount of time tournaments take.
• Hybrid events gets rid of the excuses about split console play. We are all together now.
• PS3 players will play PS3 players, 360 players will play 360 players until the final 8 during the merge.
• We will utilize controller converters to help get rid of the console split during the final 8 merge. We will have limited converters at the events (deposit and id will be held).
• This system works and the national fighting game community is proof of this concept.
• Note, we will still have PS3s at the events.  There will be 2 Conferences the AFC and the NFC for example.  Each Conference will have a bracket(s) of PS3 players.
• We only go into Hybrid mode during the MERGE process that should not happen until the final 8.
• Our first Hybrid event will be on Saturday July 23rd NCAA2012 on PS3 and 360.
